Miles Farmer will speak about The Boer War in South Africa 1899-1902 revisited The quest for a national memorial in Anzac Avenue, Canberra to honour the Australian servicemen & women who fought in that war with some 1,000 paying the supreme sacrifice. -
14 August 2010.The first ‘RHSQ at Home’ will be held on Saturday 14 August. It will include the opening of the Chinese in Queensland exhibition which will be opened at 1.30pm. There will be a talk by Ray Poon at 2pm on ‘Chinese in Queensland’.
